Emily was beaming a good bit of the time, it being her first time out since her surgery on Feb 2.   She’s more or less off of the pain killers, and doing allright – dealing with discomfort, and wanting the stiches out – but dealing with that on her own.

We were especially happy to see that a good pint was on the list of things OK. It won’t be long before we’ll have her back to singing again.

It was a boost for all of us. We’ ve been following the ordeal that she and Fred, and the family  have been through. I’d say the signs we saw last night say they are on the right side of it now.
