St. Paddy’s 2016 – RiRa Portsmouth, NH

PERCHThe St. Patrick’s Day season officially starts this weekend at Ri Ra in Portsmouth NH!

While there’s loads going on there all weekend, we’ll be playing from 1 – 4 pm on Sunday. And then the weekly session starts at 5 pm. Come on down for an afternoon of great craic.

Then we’ll be back on Thursday for the high holiday itself. We’ll be playing from 4 – 7 pm that day…and you know what kind of shenanigans we’ll be having for St. Paddy’s on a “thirsty Thursday.” Be sure to come on down and spend some time with us!

St. Paddy’s Day 2015 at Ri Ra Portsmouth

The annual celebration of all things Irish is upon us again, and we’re looking forward to another great day of music, dance, food and fun. We’ll be back at one of our favorite haunts on the high holiday, as we play Ri Ra’s in Portsmouth, NH from 4-8pm.

If you’re looking for a good time, we’d suggest joining us in Market Square.

Beara Irish Brewing Co

We’re going to be playing the newest “Irish” spot on the Seacoast this Sunday, as Beara Irish Brewing Co. recently opened their new tap room at their brewery. The new brewery, located at 2800 Lafayette Road in Portsmouth, produces fine craft brews by combining genuine imported Irish Barley Malt with other locally sourced ingredients like water, grains, hops and yeast. Should be fun…we go on at 2 p.m.

Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day

Hey all,

Just wishing you a happy Halfway to St. Patrick’s Day today! We’ll be playing a party at the Portsmouth Yacht Club tonight, but there’s plenty of live music to enjoy…get out and hear some!

Ride On (for two weeks, anyway)

So last night, unplanned and on a complete whim, we launched into the classic “Ride On.” For those of you who were there, we hope you enjoyed it.

We’ve been rehearsing some other new material , which is coming together nicely. Those additions to the repertoire should be ready for prime time in two weeks…and that’s convenient timing.

Convenient because we won’t be playing next Monday night. The U.S. has its first World Cup match next Monday, so we’re giving the soccer fans all the space they need.

In the meantime, let us know what other songs you’d like to hear…and enjoy this version of “Ride On” from the author himself, Jimmy McCarthy.
